Nautilus Studio is the working studio of lens‑based artist Anna Sellen in the heart of Aberaeron on the west coast of Wales. Set within a historic Welsh townhouse, the studio sits close to the estuary and harbour, where shifting tides shape the rhythm of the work made here.

This is a place where images form slowly, where ideas gather like water finding its way, and where creative practice unfolds with care and curiosity. Built around process — analogue, experimental, interdisciplinary — Nautilus is both a private workspace and a place that opens outward to artists, visitors, and the local community.

Nautilus Studio is a one‑woman creative space, and in this first year I’m gently testing what opening hours work best for the studio, the shop, and the flow of making artwork. This means our hours are a little irregular for now — thank you for your patience as the rhythm settles.

Studio (artmaking & workshops) Tuesday–Friday — 9:30am to 12pm

Shop

Tuesday — 1pm to 4:30pm

Wednesday — 1pm to 4:30pm

Friday — 1pm to 4:30pm

Saturday — 11am to 4pm

Other times available by appointment

Closed Monday & Sunday
