With panoramic views over the harbour and immediate access to shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants, and takeaways, it offers an ideal base for exploring the Wales Coast Path, scenic beaches, nature walks, and the chance to spot dolphins. New Quay, Aberystwyth, and Lampeter are all less than a 30‑minute drive away, making it perfectly placed for everything the region has to offer.

The apartment is completely self‑contained, and guests have full and exclusive use throughout their stay. The apartment shares the main entrance with the studio.

Step outside and you are moments from the sea, with its shifting tides, pebble beaches, and ever‑changing light.

A short drive inland brings you to pockets of temperate rainforest—rare, ancient, moss‑laden woodlands that feel almost otherworldly. Coastline, estuary, cliffs, forests: all of it is on your doorstep, ready to be explored.

Artist Residencies

Nautilus Studio offers accommodation for visiting artists who wish to immerse themselves in this coastal landscape and in a space dedicated to experimentation.

Residencies are open to artists from all disciplines, with a particular welcome to those working in lens‑based, analogue, or interdisciplinary practices.

The Living Space

Inside, the apartment spans two floors. The first floor includes a living room with TV, sofa, and chairs; a kitchen with a breakfast area; a shower room; and a separate WC. Upstairs are two double bedrooms (one king‑size, one double bed) and a cosy room for reflective practice.
